Sound
1 Press .
2 Select [Setup] > [Audio] to access the audio setup options .
• [Night Mode]: Select quiet or full dy namic sound. Night mode d ecreases the volume of loud
sound and increase s the volume of soft sound (such as sp eech).
• [Neo 6]: Enable or disable a sur round sound effect w hich is converted from 2 .0 channel audio.
• [HDMI Audio]: Set an HDMI audio form at when this player is connec ted through HDMI.
• [Digital Audio]: Select an audio form at for the sound output wh en this player is connected
through a digita l connector (coaxial).
• [PCM Downsampling]: Set the sampling r ate for PCM audio output w hen this player is
connected throu gh a digital connecto r (coaxial).
Note
For settings re lated to HDMI, the T V must be connec ted through HDMI . • Night mode is o nly available for Dolby e ncoded DVD and Blu- ray discs. •
Network (installation, status...)

2 Select [Setup] > [Network] to access the network s etup options.
• [Network Installation]: Start a wired or wireles s installation to make the n etwork work.
• [View Network Se ttings]: Display the curr ent network statu s.
• [View Wireless Settings]: Display the curr ent Wi-Fi status .
Preference (languages, parental control...)
1 Press .
2 Select [Setup] > [Preference] to access the preference setup optio ns.
• [Menu language]: Sele ct an onscreen display me nu language.
• [Audio]: Selec t an audio language for video.
• [Subtitle]: Select a subtitle lang uage for video.
• [Disc Menu]: Select a menu language fo r a video disc.
• [Parental Control]: Restrict access to discs that are encoded with ratings. Input “0000” to
access the restr iction options. To play all discs ir respective of the r ating, select level “8 ”.
• [Screen Saver]: Enable or disable screen saver mode . If enabled, the scree n enters idle mode
after 10 minutes of inac tivity (for example, in p ause or stop mode).
[Auto Subtitle Shif t]• : Enable or disable su btitle shift. If e nabled, the subtitle p osition is changed
automatically to fi t the TV screen (this featu re works with some Ph ilips TVs only).
• [Change Password]: Set or change a password to play a restricted disc. Input “0000” if you do
not have a password or if you have for gotten your password .
