Set the default volume l evel when you play a disc.

Select a preset soun d effect to enhance t he audio
output.
• [3D] - Select a virtual surr ound sound effect
that is produced from th e left and right au dio
channels.
• [Movie Mode] - Select a sound effect for
movies.
• [Music Mode] - Select a sound effect for
music.
[CD Upsampling]
For better sound qual ity in stereo mo de, convert
the music CD to a higher sa mpling rate.
• [Off] - Turn off CD-upsa mpling.
• [88.2kHz] - Convert to twice the ori ginal
sampling rate.
• [176.4kHz] - Convert to four ti mes the original
sampling rate.
[Night Mode]
Make loud sound level sof ter and soft sound l evel
louder so that you can wat ch the DVD movies at a
low volume, without d isturbing othe rs.
• [On] - Enjoy quiet viewing at night .
• [Off] - Enjoy surroun d sound with a full
dynamic range.

[Analogue Output]
Select an analogue s etting based on th e audio
device that is connected through the analogue
audio jack.
• [LT/RT] - For the surround sound output
through two speaker s.
• [Stereo] - For the stereo output.
[Digital Audio]
Select a digital se tting based on the d igital amplifie r/
receiver that is connec ted through the digi tal jack
(coaxial/digital).
• [Digital Output] - Select a type of digital
output.
• [All] - Support multi -channel audio
formats.
• [Off] - Disable digit al output.
• [PCM Only] - Downmix to two-channel
audio format.
• [LPCM Output] - Select the L PCM (Linear
Pulse Code Modulation) ou tput sampling r ate.
• [48kHZ] - For discs r ecorded at samplin g
rate of 48 kHz.
• [96kHZ] - For discs recorded at sampli ng
rate of 96 kHz.
Note
• [L PCM Output] set ting is only ava ilable if the [Digital
Output] is set to [PCM Only].
