Connect TV

Connect video cables

With this connectio n, you can watch video
from the unit on the TV s creen.
You can select the best vide o connection that
your TV supports.
Option 1: Connect throug h HDMI (for a
HDMI, DVI or HDCP-complia nt TV).
Option 2: connect through component
video (for a standard T V or Progressive
Scan TV).
Option 3: connect thro ugh composite
video (CVBS) (for a standa rd TV).

Option 1: Connect through HDMI

Connect HDMI (High Definition Multimedia
Interface), DVI (Digita l Visual Interface), or
HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Contents
Protection)-complia nt TVs through HDMI
for the best picture qu ality. This connection
transmits both vid eo and audio signals.
Through this connec tion, you can watch DVDs
that contain HD (High-Definition) content.
Note
Some TVs do not suppor t HDMI audio
transmission.
This connection provides the best video
quality.

3 Connect

Place the unit

1 Place the unit near to the T V.
2 Place the subwoofer at the corne r of the
room or at least one mete r away from
the TV.
3 Place the main unit on a hard, fl at and
stable surface.
Tip
You can also mount the unit on th e wall with
the supplied screws .
Note
To avoid magnetic interfer ence or unwanted
noise, never place this ap paratus and spea kers
too close to any radiation de vices.
Never place this unit in an e nclosed cabinet .
Install this unit ne ar the AC outlet wher e the
AC power plug can be easily r eached.

Before you connect

1 Place a soft cloth on a hard, flat , stable
surface.
2 With its front panel f ace-down, place the
unit onto the cloth.
