The ratings are count ry-depend ent. To allow

all discs to play, select ‘8’.
Some discs have rating s printed on them bu t

are not recorded wit h ratings. This fu nction
has no effect on such dis cs.
[PBC]
Turn on or off the content menu of VCDs /
SVCDs with PBC (playback con trol) feature.
• [On] - Display the index menu w hen you
load a disc for play.
• [Off] - Skip t he menu and star t play from
the first title.
[MP3/JPEG Nav]
Select to display the folde rs or display all the
files.
• [View Files] - Display all the files.
• [View Folders] - Display the folders of
MP3/WMA files.
[Password]
Set or change the password fo r locked discs
and play restricte d DVDs.
1. Press the Numeric buttons to enter
default password ‘123456’ or the la st set
password at [Old Passwor d] field.
2. Enter the new passwor d at [New
Password] field.
3. Enter the new password a gain at [Confirm
PWD] field.
4. Press OK to exit the menu.
Note
If you forget the passwo rd, enter ‘123456’ •
before you set a new passwo rd.

Select an audio langua ge for disc play.
[Subtitle]
Select a subtitle lan guage for disc play.
[Disc Menu]
Select a disc menu langu age.
Note
If the language you have set is not av ailable on •
the disc, the disc uses it s own default langu age.
[Parental control]
Restrict access to dis cs that are unsuitabl e
for children. These ty pes of discs must be
recorded with ratings.
1. Press OK.
2. Select a rating level , then press OK.
3. Press the numeric buttons to enter the
password.
