USB device not supported
The USB device is incompat ible with the
unit. Try another one.
Timer does not work
Set the clock correctl y.
Switch on the timer.
Clock/timer setting erased
Power has been interrupte d or the power
cord has been disconnected.
Reset the clock/timer.
Moisture has conden sed inside the
system. Remove the disc an d leave the
system turned on for ab out an hour.
Disconnect and reconne ct the AC power
plug, and then turn on th e system again.
As a power-saving feature , the system
turns off automatical ly 15 minutes after
disc play reaches the end an d no control
is operated.
Poor radio reception
Increase the dista nce between the unit
and your TV or VCR.
Fully extend the FM ante nna.
Connect an outdoor FM a ntenna instead.
Unable to select Progressive Scan
Ensure the video outpu t mode is set to
[Pr/Cr Pb/Cb Y].
No sound on HDMI connection.
You may not hear any sound if the
connected device is non -HDCP
compliant or only DVI-compatible.
No picture on HDMI connection.
Check if the HDMI cable is faulty. Replace
a new HDMI cable.
If this happens when you chan ge the
HDMI video resolut ion, select the cor rect
resolution until the pi cture appears .
Audio or subtitle languages cannot be set
The disc is not recorded wi th sound or
subtitles in multiple languages.
The audio or subtitle lan guage setting is
prohibited on the disc.
Cannot display some files in USB device
The number of folders or fil es in the USB
device has exceeded a cer tain limit. This
phenomenon is not a malfunc tion.
The formats of these files a re not
supported.
