[HDMI Setup]
When you connect this appa ratus and TV
with HDMI cable, se lect the best HDMI v ideo
setting that your TV su pports.
• [Wide Screen Format] – Define th e wide
screen format for disc play.
Note
This setting is only av ailable if you have set th e •
[TV Display] setting to [16:9 Wide Screen].
• [HDMI Video] – Select the HDMI video
output resolutio n that is compatible wit h
your TV display capability.
Note
If the setting is not comp atible with your T V, •
a blank screen appears. Wait for 15 seconds
for auto recover or switc h to its default mode
as follows: 1) Press . 2) Press . 3) Press
ZOOM.
• [EasyLink] -- Set one-touch play and
one-touch standby between EasyLink-
compliant devices.
Note
Compliant devices mus t be connected to the •
unit via HDMI.
Preferences
Note
Stop disc play before you can acces s to •
[Preferences].
[TV Display]
Select a display format :
• [4:3 Pan Scan] - For 4:3 screen TV: fu ll-
height display with the tr immed sides.
• [4:3 Letter Box] - For 4:3 screen T V:
wide-screen display w ith black bars on
the top and bottom of the scr een.
• [16:9] - For wide-scre en TV: display ratio
16:9.
[Progressive]
If a progressive scan T V is connected to this
product, turn on t he progressive scan mod e.
• [On] - Turn on progressive scan .
• [Off] - Turn off prog ressive scan mode.

[Picture Setting]
Select a predefined se t of picture color
settings or customize the personal setting.
• [Standard] - Original color setting .
• [Bright] - Vibrant color settin g.
• [Soft] - Warm color setting.
• [Personal] - Customize the color sett ing.
Set the level of brightnes s, contrast, tin t
and color saturation , then press OK.
[HD JPEG]
Enjoy untouched and uncompressed JPEG
pictures at its ori ginal resolution whe n you
you connect this produc t and the TV with an
HDMI cable.
• [On] - Display high definiti on picture.
• [Off] - Display standard picture.
