Fetch album artwork

Choose from these opt ions to fetch the
artwork for yo ur albums:
1 On the comp uter, launch the Songbird
program.
On the Songbird tool bar, select • Tools >
Get Album Artwork .
If no titles are selected, Songbird »
fetches the artwork for all titles in the
library.
Right-Click on sele cted titles.•
Songbird fetches the artwork for all »
selected titles.

media library

1 In the Son gbird library, rig ht click on a
media le, then sel ect Remove.
2 In the pr ompt window, click Remove to
conrm that you want to r emove the le.
The selected le is removed from »
the library and from all playlists. (By
default, the le is only “removed”, not
“deleted”. The media le still exists in
its original location on the computer or
computer network.)
Tip
To select multiple l es on the computer (P C), •
press and hold Ctrl.
To select multiple cons ecutive les, pr ess and •
hold Shift.

Delete media

This is how to delete medi a les in Windows
Explorer:
1 With VI BE connected to the compu ter,
open Windows explo rer.
2 Locate th e media folder in VIBE.
3 Delete t he media le in the same way as
you would from any other lo cation on the
comp uter.

Let Songbird watch a folder

You can let Songbird
monitor the content s of a folder, and•
add or remove the media f rom your •
library to matc h the folder contents.
1 On the comp uter, launch the Songbird
program.
2 Selec t Tools > Options....
3 On the Son gbird toolbar, select the
Media Importer t ab, and then Watch
Folders.
