Using the remote control blaster cord
If the video source does not respond to remote control commands, the remote control blaster cord should be connected.
1Ensure that the transmitter unit is switched off.
2Connect the blaster cord to the IR connector (7) of the transmitter unit.
3Locate the position of the IR sensor on the video source.
Normally it is located on the front panel, positioned to the left or right of the display. (See the User Manual of your VCR, DVD or SAT box.)
4Remove the adhesive tape from the IR light and fix the IR light on the IR sensor of the video source.
Notes:
–Placing the IR light
–Particular brands and types of TV react to remote control signals by making a buzzing noise when a command is given.
–If you are still having problems getting your configuration to work correctly, check ‘Problem solving’.
–It is possible to control devices of most brands, but some devices from Sagem, Nokia and Bang & Olufsen cannot be controlled remotely.
