Press the POWER button on the VCR to turn on the VCR. Your remote control beeps and LOCATING REMOTE appears on the screen. The remote control will beep for about 30 seconds. (The

The VCR may find other remote controls. If this occurs, follow the steps below to program the VCR to find only its remote control.

Helpful Hints

•If there are no batteries in the remote control, it will not beep.

•The TV volume may be muted while the LOCATING REMOTE message appears on the screen. Press the STATUS/EXIT button on the VCR remote control to remove the mes- sage and restore the volume.
