Whenyou use this unit with the Pioneer DVD
navigationunit, make sure that you use the
mapdisc CNDV-21 or later. This manual ex-
plainsthe operations with the combined use
ofthem.
Ifyou do not use the map disc CNDV-21but
usean older versionwith the navigation unit,
thisunit may have some failures or inconve-
niencesas follows:
!ENTERTAINMENTbutton and WIDE button
cannotfunction as POS button and
NAVIMENU button.
!NAVI(navigation unit), such as DVD video
fromthe combined Pioneer navigation unit
withDVD video playback, cannot be se-
lectedas a source.
!InNAVI MIXING, the settings other than
ALLcannot be selected.
!Voice-recognitioncontrol system of the
combinedPioneer navigation unit cannot
functionproperly. The voice operation for
navigationcan be used, but the voice op-
erationrelated toAV equipment cannot be
used.
!Routeguidance of the combined Pioneer
navigationunit cannot function properly
whensome other source images are dis-
played.Guidance by voice can be obtained,
buton guidance by display (e.g. switching
toan enlarged map of an intersection) can-
notbe obtained.
!NAVI(navigation unit wallpaper) cannot be
selectedas a background display.
