Hands-free phoning with cellular phones featuring Bluetooth wireless technology

If your cellular phone features Bluetooth wire- less technology, you can use this adapter to connect to a Pioneer head unit for hands-free, wireless calls, even while driving.

Important

Since this unit is on standby to connect with your cellular phones via Bluetooth wireless technol- ogy, using this unit without running the engine can result in battery drainage.

Shows which source has been selected.

2Source name

Shows the selected source name.

3Phone number

Shows the phone number you selected.

4User number indicator

Shows the registration number of the cellu- lar phone.

5Device name

Shows the device name of the cellular phone.

6Voice recognition indicator

Shows when the voice recognition function is on (for more details, refer to Voice recogni- tion on page 10).

7Incoming call notice indication

Shows when an incoming call has been re- ceived and not checked yet.

8Automatic answering indicator

Shows when the automatic answering func- tion is on (for more details, refer to Setting the automatic answering on page 20).

9Battery strength indicator

Shows the battery strength of cellular phone.

!Battery strength indicator may differ from the actual battery strength.

!If the battery strength is not available, nothing is displayed in the battery strength indicator area.

aSignal level indicator

Shows the signal strength of cellular phone.

!Signal level indicator may differ from the actual signal level.

!Depending on the cellular phones featur- ing Bluetooth wireless technology, radio field intensity is not available.

bTelephone indicator

Shows when a phone connection using Bluetooth wireless technology is estab- lished (for more details, refer to Connecting a cellular phone on page 12).

cPreset dial list display Shows the Preset dial list.

!This unit’s phone call reception is on standby when ignition switch is set to ACC or ON.
