Selecting an audio filedirectly in the current folder
Whenusing the remote control, you can select
anaudio file directly by entering the desired
tracknumber.
1 PressDIRECT.
Audiofile number input display appears.
2 Press0 to 9 buttons to enter the desired
tracknumber.
#Youcan cancel the input number by pressing
CLEAR.
3 PressDIRECT.
Theaudio file of entered number will play.
Note
Afterentering the number input mode, if you do
notperform an operation within about eight sec-
onds,the mode is automatically canceled.
Introduction of advancedoperations
1 PressMULTI-CONTROL to display the
mainmenu.
FUNC,AUDIOand ENTERTAINMENT appear
onthe display.
2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select FUNC.
Turnto change the menu option; press to se-
lect.
Thefunction name appears on the display.
3 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to switch be-
tweenthe functions in the following order:
Playmode (repeat play)—Random mode
(randomplay)—Scan mode (scan play)—
Pause(pause)
#Youcan also switch between the functions in
reverseorder by turning MULTI-CONTROL coun-
terclockwise.
#Toreturn to the playback display, press
BAND(BAND/ESC).
Note
Ifyou do not operate the function within about 30
seconds,the display is automatically returned to
theplayback display.
Selecting a repeat play range
Thereare three repeat play ranges:
Trackrepeat (one-file repeat), Folder repeat
(folderrepeat), and All repeat (repeat all files).
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
Playmode in the function menu.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL repeatedly to se-
lectthe repeat range.
!Trackrepeat –Repeat just the current file
!Folderrepeat –Repeat the current folder
!Allrepeat –Repeat all files
Notes
!Ifyou select another folder during repeat play,
therepeat play range changes to All repeat.
!Ifyou perform track search or fastforward/re-
verseduring Track repeat, the repeat play
rangechanges to Folder repeat.
!WhenFolder repeat is selected, it is not pos-
sibleto play back a subfolder of that folder.
Playing files in random order
Randomplay lets you play back files in a ran-
domorder within the repeat playrange,
Folderrepeat and All repeat.
