Adjusting subwoofer settings

Whenthe subwoofer output is on,you can ad-
justthe cut-off frequency and the output level
ofthe subwoofer.
1 PressAUDIO to select Sub-W2.
PressAUDIO until Sub-W2 appears in the dis-
play.
#Youcan also select the subwoofer setting
menuby pressing SW on the unit.
#Whenthe subwoofer output is on, you can se-
lectSub-W2.
2 Presscor dto select cut-off frequency.
Eachpress of cor dselects cut-off frequen-
ciesin the following order:
5080125(Hz)
Onlyfrequencies lower than those in the se-
lectedrange are outputted from the subwoo-
fer.
3 Pressaor bto adjust the output level
ofthe subwoofer.
Eachpress of aor bincreases or decreases
thelevel of the subwoofer. +6 6is displayed
asthe level is increased or decreased.
Using nonfading output
Whenthe nonfading output setting ison, the
audiosignal does not pass through this units
lowpass filter (for the subwoofer), but is out-
puttedthrough the RCA output.
1 PressAUDIO to select nonfading output
on/offsetting.
PressAUDIO until NonFad ON appears in the
display.
#Whenthe subwoofer controller setting is only
PREOUT:FULL, you can switch to the nonfading
outputon/off setting. (Refer to page 42.)
2 Pressato turn nonfading output on.
NonFadON appears in the display. Nonfading
outputis now on.
#Toturn nonfading output off, press b.

Adjusting nonfading output level

Whenthe nonfading output is on, you can ad-
justthe level of nonfading output.
1 PressAUDIO to select nonfading output
setting.
PressAUDIO until NonFad 0 appears in the
display.
2 Pressaor bto adjust the nonfading
outputlevel.
Eachpress of aor bincreases or decreases
thelevel of the nonfading output. +6 6is
displayedas the level is increased or
decreased.
Using the high pass filter
Whenyou do not want low sounds fromthe
subwooferoutput frequency range to play
fromthe front or rear speakers, turn on the
HPF(high pass filter). Only frequencies higher
thanthose in the selected range are outputted
fromthe front or rear speakers.
1 PressAUDIO to select HPF.
PressAUDIO until HPF appears in the display.
2 Pressato turn high pass filter on.
HPF80 Hz appears in the display. High pass
filteris now on.
#Toturn high pass filter off, press b.
3 Presscor dto select cut-off frequency.
Eachpress of cor dselects cut-off frequen-
ciesin the following order:
