Youcan use this unit to control a multi-CD
player,which is sold separately.
Theseare the basic steps necessar y to play a
CDwith your multi-CD player. More advanced
CDoperation is explained starting on the next
page.
1Discnumber indicator
Showsthe disc currently playing.
2Tracknumber indicator
Showsthe track currently playing.
3Playtime indicator
Showsthe elapsed playing time of the cur-
renttrack.
1 PressSOURCE to select the multi-CD
player.
PressSOURCE until you see Multi-CD dis-
played.
2 Selecta disc you want to listen to with
the16 buttons.
Fordiscs located at 1 to 6, press the corre-
spondingbutton number.
Ifyou want to select a disc located at 7 to 12,
pressand hold the corresponding numbers,
suchas 1for disc 7, until the disc number ap-
pearsin the display.
#Youcan also sequentially select a disc by
pressinga/b.
3 Toperform fast forward or reverse,
pressand hold cor d.
4 Toskip back or forward to another
track,press cor d.
Pressingdskips to the start of the next track.
Pressingconce skips to the start of the cur-
renttrack. Pressing again will skip to the pre-
vioustrack.
Notes
!Whenthe multi-CD player performs the pre-
paratoryoperations, Ready is displayed.
!Ifan error message such as ERROR-11 is dis-
played,refer to the multi-CD player owner s
manual.
!Ifthere are no discs in the multi-CD player ma-
gazine,No Disc is displayed.
50-disc multi-CD player
Onlythose functions described in this manual
aresupported for 50-disc multi-CD players.
Thisunit is not designed to operate disc title
listfunctions with a 50-disc multi-CD player.
