Adjusting non fading output level

Whenthe non fading output ison, you can ad-
justthe level of non fading output.
1 PressAUDIO to select non fading out-
putsetting.
PressAUDIO until NonFad 0 appears in the
display.
2 Pressaor bto adjust the output level
ofthe non fading.
Eachpress of aor bincreases or decreases
thelevel of the non fading. +6 6is displayed
asthe level is increased or decreased.
Using the high pass filter
Whenyou do not want low sounds fromthe
subwooferoutput frequency range to play
fromthe front or rear speakers, turn the HPF
(highpass filter) on. Only frequencies higher
thanthose in the selected range are output
fromthe front or rear speakers.
1 PressAUDIO to select HPF.
PressAUDIO until HPF appears in the display.
2 Pressato turn high pass filter on.
HPF80 Hz appears in the display. High pass
filteris now on.
#Toturn high pass filter off, press b.
3 Presscor dto select cut-off frequency.
Eachpress of cor dselects cut-off frequen-
ciesin the following order:
5080125(Hz)
Onlyfrequencies higher than those in the se-
lectedrange are output from the front or rear
speakers.
Note
Ifyou switch the SFEQ setting, the HPF function
isautomatically turned off. By turning the HPF
functionon after selecting the SFEQ setting, you
cancombine HPF function with SFEQ
function.
Adjusting source levels
SLA(source level adjustment) lets you adjust
thevolume level of each source to prevent ra-
dicalchanges in volume when switching be-
tweensources.
!Settingsare based on the FM tuner volume
level,which remains unchanged.
1 Comparethe FM tuner volume level
withthe level of the source you wish to ad-
just.
2 PressAUDIO to select SLA.
PressAUDIO until SLA appears in the display.
3 Pressaor bto adjust the source vo-
lume.
Eachpress of aor bincreases or decreases
thesource volume.
SLA+4 SLA 4is displayed as the source vo-
lumeis increased or decreased.

!TheAM tuner volume level can also be ad-
justedwith source level adjustments.
!Thebuilt-in CD player and the multi-CD player
areset to the same source level adjustment
volumeautomatically.
!Externalunit 1 and external unit 2 are set to
thesame source level adjustment volume
automatically.
