WhenEver Scroll is set to ON at the initial setting,
CDtext information scrolls continuously in the
display.If you want to stop the scrolling display
forthe disc loaded, press and hold DISPLAY for 2
seconds.Just the first 16 characters of the text
willbe shown in the display. To switch off Ever
Scrollcompletely, set Ever Scroll to OFFat the in-
itialsetting. To turn Ever Scroll setting ON or OFF,
referto Switching the Ever Scroll on page 44.
Using compression andbass emphasis
Youcan use these functions only with a multi-
CDplayer that supports them.
Usingthe COMP (compression) and DBE (dy-
namicbass emphasis) functions let you adjust
thesound playback quality of the multi-CD
player.Each of the functions have a two-step
adjustment.The COMP function balances the
outputof louder and softer sounds at higher
volumes.DBE boosts bass levels to give play-
backa fuller sound. Listen to each of the ef-
fectsas you select through them and use the
onethat best enhances the playbackof the
trackor CD that you are listening to.
