Useful adjustment settings

Voluntary movie rating system (MPAA)

1Press MENU.
2Press a/b to select “Setup”, and then press SET/
ENTER.
•Secret number setting menu displays only when

“Secret No.” is set. (See page 52.)

•V-CHIP and Status will not be selectable from the menu
if you do not first configure your secret number.

3Enter your 4-digit secret number with 0 – 9 to cancel
the “Secret No.” when you set it.
4Press a/b to select “Parental CTRL”, and then
press SET/ENTER.
5Press a/b to select “V-Chip”, and then press SET/
ENTER.
6Press a/b to select “MPAA”, and then press SET/
ENTER.
7Press a/b to select the desired item, and then
press SET/ENTER to select “BLOCK”.
•The setting automatically enters “BLOCK” for any
ratings below your selection.
•If Status is not set to “On” the configuration settings
will not work. (See page 53.)
8Press MENU to exit the menu.

•Return to the previous menu by pressing MENU RETURN.

TV Parental Guidelines (TV Guidelines)

1Press MENU.
2Press a/b to select “Setup”, and then press SET/
ENTER.
•Secret number setting menu displays only when
