Initial auto installation

When you turn on the Plasma Display System for the first time, it will automatically memorize the broadcasting channels where you live. Perform the following steps before you press TV a.

1.Insert the batteries into the remote control unit. (See page 8.)

2.Connect the antenna cable to the Media Receiver. (See page 12.)

3.Plug in the power cord to the wall outlet. (See page 13.)

1. Setting a language

1Press a/b to select the desired language listed on the screen.

2Press SET/ENTER to enter the setting.

2. Setting the antenna mode

1Press a/bto select “Air” or “Cable” on the screen.

2Press SET/ENTER to enter the setting.

3. Automatic channel searching

Channel auto search makes the Plasma Display System look for all channels viewable in the set area.

If no channel is found, “No program found. Is antenna connected properly?” displays. And the auto channel search finishes.

If you want to try auto installation again, see page 23.

Channel search function is available for ANT-A only.

ANT-B cannot perform channel search.

You may need to manually add the CABLE Converter output channel setting (fixed), when connecting the CABLE

Converter output signal to the B terminal (ANT/CABLE 75q) on the Media Receiver (Rear).(See page 25.)
