4 Turn the [HEADPHONES LEVEL] control.
Sound is output from the headphones.
!When the [ (CH1)] button or [ (CH2)] button is pressed again, monitoring is canceled.
!Monitoring of the sound output from the [MASTER OUT 1] and
[MASTER OUT 2] terminals (the sound of the master channel) can- not be canceled.
Using a microphone
1Press the [MIC (ON/OFF)] button.
2Turn the [MIC LEVEL] control clockwise.
The sound of the microphone is output from the speakers.
!Adjust the [MIC ATT.] control on the rear panel as necessary (page 10).
Adjusting the sound quality
Turn the [MIC EQ] control.
—When turned fully clockwise, the attenuation of the bass sound is maximum.
—When turned fully counterclockwise, the attenuation of the treble sound is maximum.
Using the filter function
The sound of the high or low range is filtered out, greatly changing the tone.
Turn the [FILTER] control.
—Right: An effect as if the low range was gradually cut is achieved.
—Left: An effect as if the high range was gradually cut is achieved.

This is used to select the beat multiple to which the effect is synchronized.

3LEVEL/DEPTH control
Adjusts the quantitative parameter of the effect.
Using the beat effect function
This unit is equipped with four effect buttons. Effects can be applied to the sound by pressing one of the effect buttons.
Press one of the [FX SELECT (TRANS, FLANGER, ECHO, ROLL)] buttons.
The button that was pressed flashes.
The effect is applied in beat with the track.
The effect differs for the different buttons. For details on the different effects, see the table below.
!When a button that is flashing is pressed again, the effect is turned off.

Varying the effect
