How Are the Scanned Images Handled?

Every time you scan a document, the scanned image is added to the DocuPen™ ’s internal flash memory bank. The number of scanned images that can be maintained in the memory bank depends on the complexity of the scanned documents.

The image file is downloaded as one whole file. The images, or pages can after downloading be separated or edited individually.

This can be done in either Windows Imaging, or PaperPort

To view the scanned images, you must download the DocuPen™ ’s memory bank to your computer. The memory bank is downloaded to your computer as a single file containing all the scanned images.

After you download the memory bank, you view and manage the images from within your imaging application.

You can also manage & view images & especially text with the included ScanSoft® OCR software.
