Turn on the backlight The backlight comes on when any key is pressed or when there is an incoming call, and stays on for 10 seconds. It turns off if another key is not pressed within that period.
Configuring the Handset

Open the option The option menu is used to set phone options menu such as language, ring tone and keypad
autolock. Press the FCN key while on hook to open the option menu. Use the up/down/ select buttons on the side of the handset to scroll through and select options.
Change ring options Use Ring Options to adjust ring tones, ring cadence and set vibrate options.
Change phone Use Phone Options to adjust noise mode for options background noise, key tones, warning tones,
display contrast and keypad autolock.
