Instructions for Macintosh Users

Installing the PowerFile software on the host Macintosh computer

Determine which Macintosh system the Changer will be connected to; this will be the host system, and the user of this system will be designated as the Administrator.

On the host system:

1.Load the PowerFile software CD into the CD drive of the host computer.

2.Double-click on the CD icon on the desktop to view the contents of the CD.

3.Locate and double-click on the Installer icon. You will see a dialog box asking you to select Host or Client Install. Choose Host Installation.

You will then be asked to select a directory for the PowerFile folder. Choose a location for this folder, and click the Install button.

When you click Install, the PowerFile folder is created by the software installer and placed in the selected directory. The software installer then places the PowerFile MediaFinder software inside the PowerFile folder.

You must restart your system after loading the MediaFinder software.
