Disc organization

The MediaFinder window is the master window for the Changer: It displays all of the discs in that Changer. The administrator has control over the name of the MediaFinder window, as well as the names of the discs and the file structure within the MediaFinder window.

To help organize the discs, the administrator can:

Rename the MediaFinder window

Rename any of the discs

Create, move, rename, and delete new folders and subfolders within the MediaFinder window

Renaming the Media Finder window

To rename a MediaFinder window, launch the window, then go to the Browser menu and select Changer Info. This brings up a window showing the name of the window and basic information about the Changer. Simply type in a new name in the box at the top and click Save to rename the window.

Note: The description box at the bottom of the Changer Info window allows you to enter your own data, which will be saved and displayed any time you view the Changer Info window.
