Print Settings

Click Print Setup to see the driver window and all of its settings. You will want click the Copies and Pages button and select Publisher Settings option in the drop-down menu to see the full pane and access all the printer driver settings.

The following is a description of the printer driver settings:

•Cartridge to use

The Black and Color setting will use both cartridges when printing your image. Color will only use the Color Cartridge, and Black Only will only use the monochrome cartridge for printing.

Note: If using the Black and Color Setting, be sure to perform the Cartridge Alignment found in the Configuration Utility. Refer to section 4-F for more details on this calibration.

FAQ

What driver window settings can I access by clicking Print Setup?

Click Print Setup to access the driver window and all its settings, including the Copies and Pages button and the Publisher Settings option.

How do I perform cartridge alignment using the Configuration Utility?

If using the Black and Color setting, be sure to perform the Cartridge Alignment found in the Configuration Utility. Refer to section 4-F in the manual for more details on this calibration.

What is the difference between the Black and Color, Color, and Black Only cartridge settings?

The Black and Color setting will use both cartridges, Color will only use the Color Cartridge, and Black Only will only use the monochrome cartridge for printing.
