INSERTING A PAUSE IN THE

DIALING SEQUENCE

Press the REDIAL button to insert a delay in the dialing sequence of a stored telephone number when a pause is needed to wait for a dial tone (for example after you dial 9 for an outside line, or to wait for a computer access tone). Each pause counts as 1 digit in the dialing sequence.

REVIEWING AND DELETING

STORED NUMBERS

1.Make sure the phone is OFF.

2.Press MEMORY, then press the arrow buttons to view the entry.

3.While the entry is displayed, press DELETE to delete the entry. The display shows ERASE MEMO?

4.Press DELETE a second time to delete the entry.

VOICE MESSAGING

Provided your phone company offers voice messaging service and you subscribe to it, the voice mail indicator on the base flashes to indicate there is a message waiting. The indicator stops flashing after the message has been reviewed.
