Tape Stops During	• The tape counter’s memory-stop feature may be
Rewind or Fast	turned on. When an “M” appears behind the tape-
Forward	counter display, the camcorder will stop rewinding or
	fast-forwarding when the counter reads “0000M”.
	Press the REW (rewind) or F.FWD (fast forward)
	button again to continue, or press DISPLAY to turn
	off memory stop.
Camcorder Remains	• Press REC/PAUSE to return to normal playback.

Poor Picture Quality	• There is insufficient light. Add more light.
During Recording	• Use the color enhancement light to add more light.

Viewfinder Displays Are	• Try adjusting the eyepiece focus control. Details are

Poor Auto-Focus	• Lens may be smudged and image appears unfocused.
Operation
	• Viewfinder eyepiece focus or BRIGHT control may
	be adjusted incorrectly. Details are on pages 22-23.
Poor Picture Quality	• Tape was recorded on a different camcorder or VCR.
During Playback	If the picture contains black-and-white streaks, press
	one of the TRACKING buttons to correct.
	• Camcorder only has one speed (SP). If the tape was
	recorded on a different VCR at a different speed, it
	cannot be played back in this camcorder.
Recorded Audio is Too	• Subject may have been too far from the camcorder.
