Attention: Telephone Line Interruption

A continuous land-based phone line connection is required for DIRECTV® Pay Per View functionality and sports subscriptions. Any calls generated by the DIRECTV® HD Receiver are toll free. These calls are typically made in the middle of the night; your phone is in use for approximately 30 seconds.

High definition broadcast copyright limitations

Due to copyright restrictions, you may not be able to view some high definition programs in high definition format using this product. (Also, whenever possible you should connect both HD and SD interfaces to permit SD viewing of programs if HD viewing is restricted due to copyright restrictions.)
