ARRANQUE DE LA PODADORA

ADVERTENCIA

Siempre desenchufe la poda- dora y quite la llave de seguri- dad antes de poner las manos cerca de la cuchilla. Siempre use guantes para proteger sus manos de los bordes agudos de la cuchilla.

1.Seleccione la entrada de potencia usando el disco de selección de potencia (vea la Figura 20).

2.Inserte la llave en la ranura para la llave y presiónelo en la ranura (vea la Figura 21). Nota: La llave puede ser insertada en cualquier forma en la ranura de la llave.

3.Siga presionando la llave en la ranura para la llave mientras levanta el asa de soporte (vea la Figura 22). El motor arrancará y la cuchilla de la podadora comenzará a girar. Una vez que la podadora arranca, puede soltar la llave de seguridad.

4.IMPORTANTE: Para parar la podadora, suelte el asa de soporte. El motor se apagará y la cuchilla dejará de girar. Para prender de nuevo la podadora, repita los pasos del 1 al 3 indicados arriba.

PARADA DE LA PODADORA

1.Suelte el asa de soporte para parar el motor de la podadora. (vea la Figura 23).

ADVERTENCIA

La cuchilla de la podadora se moverá despacio hasta pararse una vez que se apague el motor. Una seria lesión podría resultar mientras las cuchillas están girando.

2.Quite la llave (vea la Figura 24).

3.Recargue la batería después de cada uso, no importa cuan corto fue el tiempo de uso. (Vea Batería recargable)

La cuchilla cortante siempre gira cuando el motor está prendido: no hay ningún embrague que permita que la cuchilla deje de girar mientras el motor está prendido.

El prender, parar y prender de nuevo un motor eléctrico repeti- damente dentro de segundos pueden generar mucho calor y dañar el motor. Para proteger la vida de su podadora, espere siempre al menos cinco (5) se- gundos después de parar y antes de prender de nuevo la podadora.
