OPERATION

	TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM	POSSIBLE CAUSE	REMEDY
STREAKING	Slow Blade Speed	Operate PTO at 540 RPM.
	Worn Blade Tips	Replace with Genuine RHINO
		Blades. See your Rhino dealer.
	Dull Blades	Sharpen blades uniformly.
	Blades unable to cut that part	Slow ground speed of tractor but
	of grass pressed down by path	keep engine running at full PTO rpm.
	of tractor tires or casters	Cutting lower will help.
	Mowing Too Fast	Slow down until cured.
	Drive Belt Loose	Tighten per instructions.
	Belt Glazed/Slipping	Apply belt dressing or replace
		with special RHINO belt.
	Blade Loose on Spindle	Tighten blade bolt securely.
		(Note: Left Hand threads
		Torque to 85 ft. lbs.)
	Conditions to wet for mowing	Allow grass to dry before mowing.
MATERIAL DISCHARGES	Material too high and too much	Reduce ground speed but maintain
FROM MOWER UNEVENLY, material		540 rpm at tractor PTO, or make two
BUNCHES MATERIAL		passes over material. Raise the mower
ALONG SWATH		for the first pass and lower to desired
		height for the second and cut at 90 deg.

HEAVY VIBRATION	Too high blade speed	Do not exceed 540 PTO RPM.
	Broken/bent Blade	Replace with genuine RHINO
		Blades. See your RHINO dealer.
	Worn/Unbalanced Blade	Grind uniformly or replace.
	Bent/Broken Sheave	Replace parts.
	Trash Hung on Blade	Clean off blade.
BELT SLIPPING	Belt loose	Tighten or replace with Special
		RHINO belt.
	Belt Glazed	Use belt dressing or replace.
	Oil on belt	Clean or replace.
