Assigning the Fn (Function) button (GP.150) to [AF/MF] allows you to switch between auto focus and manual focus by pressing the Fn (Function) button. (GP.67)
Press the !" buttons to select the desired setting.

Changing the Focusing Mode (FOCUS)

When you shoot the subject in the default focusing mode, the camera focuses automatically with Auto Focus (AF).

Select from the following five focusing modes.

MULTI AF

shoot with a minimum number of out-of-focus pictures.

camera to focus on this area automatically.

 

 

 

MF (Manual Focus)

Enables you to adjust the focus manually.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SNAP

Fixes the shooting distance to a short distance (about

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2.5 m (8.2 ft.)).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A(Infinity)

Fixes the shooting distance to infinity.

 

 

 

 

Infinity is useful for shooting distant scenes.
