72 Installing emplode

emplode on your PC

emplode is software for your PC. Use emplode to create, organize, and search your digital audio collection.

NOTE: Exit the Menu system on the Rio Advanced Digital Audio Center before using emplode. To exit the menu system, press the Now Playing button on the Rio Advanced Digital Audio Center.

Installing emplode

1.Make sure your PC and the Rio Advanced Digital Audio Center are connected either via a network or using the included USB cable.

2.Place the Rio Advanced Digital Audio Center Installation CD in your PC’s CD-ROM drive.

3.When the Installation Wizard appears on the monitor, click Install emplode.

4.Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation process.

If the CD does not autoload:

1.Place the Rio Advanced Digital Audio Center Installation CD in the PC’s CD-ROM drive.

2.Click Start at the bottom-left side of the PC’s desktop.

3.Click Run.

4.Type in X:\Setup32.exe where X is the letter corresponding to your PC’s CD-ROM drive.

5.Press the Enter key.

This displays the Installation Wizard on the CD and allows you to install the available programs.

Using emplode

1.Once emplode is finished installing, click Start on your computer screen, then navigate to Programs > Rio emplode > emplode.

This will launch the emplode program, which will first locate your Rio Advanced Digital Audio Center on your network or USB port.
