manual carefully. Then, if you have a prob- before you call for service.
PROBLEM

*Oven light or work light does not work (if equipped)
POSSIBLE CAUSE

. Gas supply not connected or not turned on. If using L.P. gas, tank may be empty
9 Appliance not properly grounded or polarized. This can affect spark ignition. (spark ignition model only)
lControls not set correctly
lBurners not adjusted properly
9 Oven not preheated long enough
lImproper rack or pan place- ment
lImproper use of foil
*Improper temperature setting for utensil used
9 Recipe not followed
lUsing improper cookware
lImproper rack placement
lOven preheated
lImproper utensil used
. Improper broiling time
lDirty oven
lBroiler pan full of grease left in oven
9 Light switch in off position
. Light bulb or flourescent light starter burned out
