Come Configurare il sub88 - Uso Immediato

COME CONFIGURARE IL SISTEMA DI MONITOR

Prima di cominciare ad effettuare i collegamenti, prendetevi un minuto per decidere come interfacciare il vostro nuovo subwoofer.

Il Sub in Comune

Nella maggior parte dei casi, è preferibile usare il sub in comune (in mono). Questo per molte ragioni, ma la più importante è che le basse frequenze prodotte da un sub­ woofer tendono ad essere “non-direzionali.” Dato che, per svilupparsi, le onde sonore a bassa frequenza hanno dav- vero bisogno di tanto spazio, non si riesce a capire se i bassi dal sub provengono da sinistra o da destra, naturalmente a meno che non ci si trovi in un ambiente davvero ampio. Per questo fenomeno, praticamente tutto il materiale sonoro per i sub viene missato in mono.

Il Posizionamento del sub88

Dato che le basse frequenze riprodotte dal sub88 non sono direzionali, potete posizionarlo praticamente ovunque. È comunque buona idea allontanare il sub88 dagli angoli. La posizione ideale del sub88 è in mezzo, il più vicino possibile al muro che vi sta di fronte quando siete in posizione di mis- saggio.

Uso Immediato

La messa a punto del Subwoofer Attivo sub88 è una proce- dura semplice che richiede sono pochi minuti. I paragrafi che seguono spiegano come configurare per l'uso il sistema sub- satelliti Resolv 2.1. Nell'esempio si assume che stiate usando casse acustiche satelliti attive come le Resolv 50a.

•Eliminate tutti i materiali di imballo (conservateli in caso fosse in futuro necessario un intervento di assistenza) e decidete dove volete posizionare fisicamente l'unità.

•Accertatevi che il mixer, i monitor amplificati satelliti e gli altri apparecchi del vostro sistema audio siano spenti. Trovate l'interruttore di accensione nel pannello posteriore del sub88 e spegnetelo.

•Collegate le uscite sinistra e destra del mixer agli INGRESSI AUDIO sinistro e destro del pannello posteriore del sub88.

Nota: è sempre raccomandabile l'uso di cavi bilanciati, ogni volta che è possibile. Per i diagrammi dettagliati di cablaggio, fate riferimento a pagina 64 di questo manuale.

•A questo punto, collegate l'Uscita Audio di sinistra del sub88 all'ingresso della cassa acustica satellite di sinistra e la sua USCITA AUDIO di destra all'ingresso della cassa acustica satellite di destra.

•Trovate il controllo di FREQUENZA nel pannello posteriore del sub88 e regolatelo a 70Hz (in posizione a “ore 10”).

•Prima di accendere le apparecchiature accertatevi che il livello generale del mixer sia completamente chiuso, per per- mettervi di alzare gradualmente il volume del sistema di monitor.
