Renaming or Deleting a Group
Once you create a new group, the Contacts List can be set to
display only the contacts in that group. For more information,
refer to “Contacts Display Options” on page34.
To rename or delete a group that you created:
1. From a Home screen, touch
Contacts
.
2. Touch
All contacts
, then touch the new group that you
want to delete or rename.
3. Touch
Menu
➔
Rename group
to change the name of
the group.
Use the keyboard to enter a new group name and touch
OK
.
4. Touch
Menu
➔
Delete group
to delete the group.
The group is deleted from any contact information in which
it appears. The contact’s in the group are not deleted. The
group name no longer appears as a Contact List display
option.
Adding and Removing Group Members
To add a contact to a group, just Edit a contact’s Group field. For
more information, refer to “Updating Contacts” on page33.
To remove contacts from a group:
1. From a Home screen, touch
Contacts
.
2. Touch
All contacts
, then touch the group from which
you want to remove members.
3. Touch
Edit
for a contact you want to remove.
4. Touch the
Groups
field Label tab, then touch the group to
remove the check mark.
The group name is removed from the field and the contact
is removed from the group.
