Software Update

The Software Update feature enables you to use your device to connect to the network and download any new software directly to your device. The device automatically updates with the latest available software when you access this option.

1.From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Settings

➔ About tablet.➔ Software update.

2.Touch Check for update.

The Choose Country list of countries displays.

3.Touch a country in the list and touch OK.

4.If the Sign up for Samsung account screen displays:

• If you do not have a Samsung account, touch Sign up, read the Terms and conditions statement, touch Accept, use the keyboard to enter the required information, and touch Sign up.

– or –

• If you do have a Samsung account, enter an Email address and a Password to sign in.

5.At the Software update prompt, touch Cancel to stop.

6.The device automatically updates the software, if available. Otherwise, when the No update available prompt displays, touch OK.

When updating software, once the delta file for FOTA update is downloaded, you can delay the update on the start screen by postponing it for a certain period of time. If you want to resume the update before the selected time:

▶Touch Resume update.
