Outdoor Unit Installation

If using a multi system, install as described in the installation manual supplied with the outdoor unit.

Step 3.1 Fixing the outdoor unit in place

1Place the outdoor unit as directed on the top of the unit to let the discharged air out properly.

2Fix the outdoor unit in level to an appropriate support using anchor bolts.

NOTE

Secure the rubber legs to help prevent the generation of noise and vibration.

If the outdoor unit is exposed to strong winds, install shield plates around the outdoor unit so

that the fan can operate correctly.

Optional: Fixing the outdoor unit to a wall with a rack

Soft rubber designed to cut off vibration from rack to wall (not supplied with product)

Soft rubber designed to cut off residual vibration from outdoor unit to rack (not supplied with product)

NOTE

Make sure that the wall can support the weights of the rack and the outdoor unit.

Install the rack close to the column as much as possible.

refrigerant pipes
