Before contacting a service centre

Please check the following

The camera doesn’t switch on

ξThere is low battery capacity

οInsert fresh batteries. (p.15)

ξBattery is inserted incorrectly with the polarities reversed.

οInsert the battery according to the polarity marks (+, -).

The camera power ceases while in use

ξThe battery is exhausted

οInsert fresh batteries.

ξThe Camera is turned off automatically

οTurn on the camera power again.

Battery power quickly drains

ξThe Camera is being used in low temperatures

οKeep the camera in warm conditions (i.e. inside a coat or jacket) and only remove it in order to take images.

Camera does not take images when pressing the Shutter button

ξThere is insufficient memory capacity οDelete unnecessary image files

ξThe memory card has not been formatted οFormat the memory card (p.74)

ξThe memory card is exhausted

οInsert a new memory card
