Setting up the recording function using the camera buttons

MENU / OK button

„MENU button

-When you press the MENU button, a menu related to each camera mode will be displayed on the LCD monitor. Pressing it again will return the LCD to the initial display.

-A menu option can be displayed when the following are selected : MOVIE and STILL IMAGE(AUTO, PROGRAM, MANUAL, DUAL IS, PORTRAIT and SCENE) mode. There is no menu available when the VOICE RECORDING mode is selected.

OIS(Optical Image Stabilization)

„The OIS function reduces blurring caused by camera shake when pressing the shutter button.

1. Press the OIS() button in the selectable mode.

2. The OIS icon will be displayed on the left side.

3. Press the shutter button halfway. The shutter speed and aperture value will be displayed on the LCD monitor. Also this camera activates the stabilizing function.

4. Press the shutter button fully to take a

picture.

„OK button

-When the menu is displayed on the LCD monitor, this button is used for shifting the cursor to the sub menu or for confirming data.

※ OIS function may not work sufficiently in the following cases.

- To take pictures of a moving subject

- To take pictures with higher digital zoom values

- When camera shake is beyond the camera-shake correction range

- The slower the shutter speed, the lower the camera-shake correction

performance.
