1 Rotate the mode dial to 3.

2 Set a frame rate or sound option.

3 Set other options.

4 Press [Shutter].

5 Press [Shutter] again to stop recording.

The zoom sound may be recorded if you use the zoom while recording a video.

A frame rate is the number of frames per second. As the frame rate increases, action appears more natural, but the ﬁle size is increased.

1 Press [Fn].

2 Press [w] or [r] to select FRAME RATE. 3 Press [e] or [t] to select a frame rate.

Pausing while recording

The camera allows you to pause temporarily while recording a video. With this function, you can record your favourite scenes as a single video.

Press [r] to pause while recording.

• Press [r] again to resume.
