Spalvos erdvės parinktis suteikia galimybę pasirinkti spalvų atkūrimo metodus. Skaitmeniniai vaizdus fiksuojantys prietaisai, pvz., skaitmeniniai fotoaparatai, monitoriai ir spausdintuvai turi savus metodus, kuriais atkuria spalvas, kurie vadinami spalvų erdvėmis.

„sRGB“ (standartinė RGB) yra tarptautinė specifikacija,

 

sukurta IEC (Tarptautinė elektrotechnikos komisija),

sRGB*

skirta apibrėžti spalvos erdvę. Ji yra plačiai naudojama

kuriant spalvas kompiuterių monitoriuose, taip pat,

 

standartinę spalvos erdvę, skirtą „Exif“. „sRGB“ yra

 

rekomenduojama naudoti su įprastais vaizdais arba

 

vaizdais, kuriuos norite publikuoti internete.

 

 

 

„Adobe RGB“ naudojama komerciniuose spaudiniuose

 

ir jos spalvų erdvė yra platesnė nei „sRGB“.
