Section 3: Call Functions
This section describes how to make, answer, or end calls. This
section also describes your phone’s features and functionality
associated with making or answering calls.

Making Calls

Your phone offers multiple ways to make calls:
Use the touch screen
Keypad
to enter a telephone or speed dial
number.
Use the
QWERTY keypad
to enter a telephone or speed dial number.
Call a contact from
Contacts
.
Speed dial using
Favorites
.
Return a call, or call a recent caller via the
Call log
.
Voice dial with
Voice Commands
.
Making Calls Using the Phone Dialer
1. Navigate to a Home screen
panel, then touch
Phone
. The
Keypad
screen appears in the
display.
2. Enter a telephone or speed
dial number on the
Keypad
screen keypad.
3. While dialing, you can use
the following options:
Press
Menu
, then
touch
Speed dial
setting
to
dial or set Speed Dials.
Press
Menu
, then touch
Add 2 sec pause
to insert a 2-
second pause in a telephone number.
Press
Menu
, then touch
Add wait
to insert a Wait pause in a
telephone number, to pause dialing to wait for input from you.
4. Touch to place the call.
