PLAYING VIDEOS

You can fi nd desired videos quickly using the thumbnail index view.

PRECHECk

•Insert the memory card. ➥page 27

•Press the Power ( ) button to turn on the camcorder.

1.Press the Play ( ) button to select the Play mode.

•The thumbnail index view appears.

•In thumbnail index view, a video is displayed with a fi lm border and a photo is displayed with its screen ratio.

•The thumbnail highlight is on the latest created or played fi le.

•When a video fi le is selected, the playing time appears on the screen.

2.Touch the ▲/▼/◄/► button to select the desired video, then touch the Ok button.

•The Shortcut menu for playback is displayed and the selected video is played.

•When a playback is complete, the thumbnail index view appears.

•To return to thumbnail index view while playing, touch the Back () button.

Do not power off or eject the memory card during video playback. Doing so may damage the recorded data.

CAUTION

•Video fi les may not playback on the camcorder in the following cases:

-Video fi les were edited or renamed on a PC

-Video fi les were recorded by devices other than the camcorder

-Video fi le formats that are not supported

•The built-in speaker and LCD screen automatically turn off when the component/AV cable is connected to the camcorder. (When connected to external devices, volume adjustment should be done on the connected external device.)

•You can playback recorded video on a TV or a PC. ➥pages 73, 64

•You can upload recorded videos or photos to YouTube or Flickr using Intelli-studio. ➥page 67
