Subjecting handset or Charger to shocks may

cause malfunction or injury. Should the handset break, remove the battery and contact SoftBank Customer Center, Customer Assistance. Discontinue handset use. Fire or electric shock may occur.

If water or foreign matter is inside handset:

Discontinue handset use to prevent fire or electric shock. Turn handset power off, remove battery, unplug Charger and contact SoftBank Customer Center, Customer Assistance.

If an abnormality occurs:

Should there be unusual sound, smoke or odour, discontinue handset use to avoid fire or electric shock. Turn handset power off, remove battery and unplug Charger and contact SoftBank Customer Center, Customer Assistance.

Keep handset off and Charger disconnected near filling stations or places with risk of fire/explosion.

Handset use near petrochemicals or other flammables may

lead to fire or explosion.

Preventing accidents

For safety, never use handset while driving. Pull over beforehand. Mobile phone use while driving is prohibited by the revised Road Traffic Law (effective 1 November 2004).

Do not use headphones while driving or riding a bicycle. Accidents may result.

Moderate volume outside, especially at level/road crossings to avoid accidents.

Do not swing handset by handstrap.

May result in injury or breakage.
