Type 2 (SM-T705):
1 | Insert the device opening tool into the gap between the device’s screen and the back |

| Then, start separating the screen from the back cover by using the tool to pry them apart. |
2 | Continue reinserting the tool and prying the screen and the back cover apart at close |
| intervals around the device. |
3 | When the screen is disengaged, separate the screen and the back cover. |
| Then, put the back cover aside and place the screen face down on a flat work surface. |

Disconnect the battery connector and remove the tape.
Remove the battery.
