iSCENE

This camcorder automatically sets the shutter speed and aperture

according to the subject and brightness for optimum recording.

Using iScene, you can also specify one of various modes depending

on the subject, recording environment, or purpose of filming.

Select the Record ( / ) mode by pressing the MODE button.

(Left/Right) button “iSCENE.”

2. Select the desired submenu item

with the Control (Up/Down)

button, and then press the OK

button.
3. Press the MENU button to exit the menu.

Use this setting for regular recording
conditions. The camcorder automatically
adjusts the aperture value and shutter
speed for optimum recording.

Sports For recording rapidly moving subjects.
Example: When recording sports.
Portrait For recording a portrait image. Use this
setting to capture natural skin tones.
Spotlight
For recording subjects under strong
light. For example, under stage
spotlights in theaters.
Beach
Use where sunlight is intense. Ex: a beach.
Snow Use where the refl ection of light is
intense. Example: a snowfi eld.
High Speed Use to reduce the blurring of objects in
rapid motion. Example: an auto race.
Food For recording objects close-up in high
color saturation.
Waterfall For recording a waterfall or fountain.
