Vacuum cleaner won’t turn on

 

• Not properly plugged into electrical outlet.

• Plug unit in firmly

• Vacuum cleaner not turned on.

• Press on/off button

• No electricity in the electrical outlet.

• Check fuse or breaker

 

 

Vacuum cleaner won’t Pick up / Loss of suction

• Circuit breaker tripped

• Reset circuit breaker

• Agitator brush rolls worn

• Replace brush rolls

• Dust bin full

• Dust bin release empty button to empty

• Incorrect carpet height setting

• Set carpet height adjustment to appropriate

• Broken belt

• Replace belt

• One or both filters are clogged

• Remove, clean and replace filters

 

 

Dust escaping from the vacuum cleaner

 

• Dust bin full

• Empty dust bin

• Dust bin not installed

• Review dust bin replacement

• HEPA filter clogged

• Replace HEPA filter

• Dust bin not properly installed

• Ensure that dust bin assembly is positioned

 

properly

• Filter assembly not assembled properly

• Ensure that filter assembly is positioned

 

properly.

Pre-filter clogged

• Clean pre-filter
