DIS (Digital Image Stabilizer,VP-L630/L650 only)
✤The DIS function only works in CAMERA mode.
✤DIS (Digital Image Stabilizer) is a handshake compensation function that compensates for
any shaking or moving of the hand holding the camcorder (within reasonable limits).
✤It provides more stable pictures when:
■Recording with the Zoom.
■Recording small objects close-up
■Recording and walking at the same time
■Recording through the window of a vehicle
1. Set the power switch to CAMERA mode.(See page 18)
■Open the LCD display and adjust as necessery.
2. Press the MENU ON/OFF button.
■The MENU list will be displayed.
3. Turn the UP/DOWN dialuntil DIS is highlighted.
4. Press ENTER.
■The DIS setting will be changed.
5. Press MENU ON/OFF button to exit.
■When the DIS is set, the DIS symbol ( ) will be
displayed in the display.
Notes: ■It is recommended to deactivate the DIS function when using a tripod.
■The DIS function will not operate in DSE mode.
■The MENU ON/OFF function will not operate in EASY or CUSTOM mode.
