SETTING A MPAA MOVIE RATING

4Use the ▲/▼ keys to block ratings: G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17, and X.

5Press the + key to set the BLOCKED rating. (√ Check mark indicates Blocked rating.)

Note: The TV will automatically block (B) ratings above or unblock (U) ratings below selection. For example, if you block rating R, NC17 and X will be blocked as well.

6Use the ▲ / ▼ keys to highlight Clear.

7Press the + key to clear all blocked ratings.

SETTING TV RATINGS

(Repeat Steps 1 and 3 to display V-Guide menu, if needed.)

8Use the ▲ / ▼ keys to block TV ratings: TV-Y, TV-Y7, TV-G, TV-PG, TV-14, TV-MA, or Content.

9Press the + key to set the BLOCKED rating. (√ Check mark indicates Blocked rating.)

SETTING CONTENT-BASED GUIDELINES

(Repeat Steps 1 and 3 to display V-Guide menu, if needed.)

10Use the ▲ / ▼ keys to highlight Content options.

11Press the + key to display the TV and Content Rating Options: Fantasy Violence, Violence, Sexual Situations, Adult Language, Suggestive Dialog.

12Use the ▲ / ▼ keys to highlight the TV Rating (highlighted in yellow). Then press the + key to block the content category (high- lighted in white). Press + key again to Block or Unblock rating. Use the ▲ / ▼ keys to highlight another rating.

13Press the – key to return to the TV and Content Rating to block or unblock other categories. Repeat step 11 to change other ratings.

Note: Networks and local stations may or may not include the content ratings portion of the TV Parental Guidelines.
