3. PLAYING BACK VIDEOS

Follow the steps below to play back videos recorded on the hard disk.

Playback

[PLAY/STOP] button

OPERATION	1 Press the [PLAY/STOP] button.
	1 Press the [PLAY/STOP] button.
	The [PLAY/STOP] button lights, and appears in
	the operation display area. The videos recorded on
	the hard disk are played back in the quad screen.

zVideo playback starts from the point at which recording started.

zIf “OVER WRITE” has been set in the normal recording settings, playback starts with the oldest recorded video when the recording is played back for the first time.

zWhen playback ends, the digital video recorder pauses automatically.

The [STILL] button lights, and ( ) appears in the operation display area.

zAfter playback is stopped, it will resume from the stopped point the next time it is started.

zYou can display quad screen images in single screens. ( P.13)

To end playback

2 Press the [PLAY/STOP] button. Playback ends.

Playing back a video near the point of recording

The digital video recorder prioritizes recording operations, so the playback image may pause temporarily.

Fast-forwarding or rewinding during playback

Press the [ ] (CUE) or [ ] (REVIEW) button during playback or when a still image is displayed.

To change the fast-forward speedPress the [ ] button while fast-forwarding.

Press the button once to increase the speed to 7.5 times the playback speed, twice to increase the speed to 15 times the playback speed, 3 times to increase the speed to 30 times the playback speed, and 4 times to increase the speed to 180 times the playback speed.
