Connect the projector’s AC power cord into an AC outlet and
turn the Main On/Off switch on. The POWER indicator lights
red.
Press the POWER ON/STAND-BY button on the top control or
on the remote control.
The POWER indicator turns green and the cooling fans start to
operate. As the automatic slide shutter opens, a preparation
display appears on the screen and the countdown starts.

4After the countdown, the input source that was selected the
last time appears on the screen.

Pressthe POWER ON/STAND-BY button again to restart.
• When“Countdown off”or“Off” isselectedin theDisplay function,
thecountdown will not be displayed on the screen (p.40).
• Duringthe countdownperiod, alloperationsare invalid.
• Imagemay lookdark forawhile afterturning onthe projector.
Lampneeds some time to stabilize after the power is turned on.
Storedlamp mode and the image mode will be active after the
lampis stabilized.
